Introduction:

Primulin is found in a variety of plants, mainly in the genus Primula, and exhibits antiproliferative activity against M109 mouse cancer cells (IC50¼10mg/mL) and A2780 human ovarian cancer cell lines (IC50¼2.9mg/mL), and Antibacterial activity against Streptococci.

Biological activity:

Primin is a natural product found in the leaf and stem trichomes of Primula obconica and has antibacterial and anticancer properties.
